  8. Banana Variation: Use 1/4 c. granulated sugar and 1/4 c. brown sugar instead of the sugar amount indicated in the base recipe. Slice banana(s) and line the baked pie shell with them, pouring pie filling on top..
  9. Butterscotch Variation: Use 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 1/2 c. brown sugar instead of the sugar amount indicated in the base recipe..
  10. Chocolate Variation: Use 2/3 c. granulated sugar and 3 tablespoons cocoa powder instead of the sugar amount indicated in the base recipe..
  11. Lemon Variation: Use juice from 1/2 of a lemon and 1 c. granulated sugar, instead of the sugar amount indicated in the base recipe..
